The National Gallery is seeking a skilled Data Specialist to help shape the future of heritage science research through the innovative Heritage Science Data Service (HSDS) project. This role will involve developing and configuring digital documentation systems, creating metadata templates and workflows, and collaborating with leading GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums) institutions to manage and prepare heritage science data for long-term use.
You’ll work closely with project partners, configure platforms like ResearchSpace and Arches for Science, and create reusable digital documentation systems. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking digital tools and standards that support FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) data principles.
