Do you have excellent interpersonal skills, an eye for detail and an interest in developing your understanding of HR policy and procedures throughout all stages of the employee lifecycle?

As an integral part of a busy HR department, this role's focus is ensuring the delivery of effective and reliable HR processes to all the Museum's employees. As a key member of the team, our HR Coordinators provide crucial support across all stages of the employee lifecycle including:

Recruitment: Working directly with recruiting managers to develop adverts, schedule interviews and managing the entire onboarding process from job offer to induction, in line with internal procedures and current legislation

Employee Relations: supporting the HR Advisor's casework through accurate minute taking of sensitive meetings including, grievance, disciplinary, capability and attendance management.

HR Systems and Record Maintenance: ensuring the HR database and employee personal files are accurate and kept up to date. Supporting payroll processes by creating new employee records and maintaining current ones.

Communications and Employee Engagement: manage shared inboxes, responding to a variety of employee queries, in a timely, polite and helpful manner. Ensuring employees have access to the Museum's benefits, preparing internal communications and keeping the intranet up to date.

Key areas of responsibility:

Efficiently coordinate the recruitment process for allocated departments from arranging interviews, booking, and setting up rooms to carrying out recruitment checks and issuing contractual documentation.

Provide timely and professional outcomes to successful and unsuccessful candidates.

Ensure all recruitment paperwork is accurately filed in a timely manner, and in line with data protection requirements.

*

Prepare paperwork and communications including employment reference and contract extensions.

*

Ensure that DBS renewals are carried out in line with the Museum's procedures and legal requirements for employees involved in secure cargo transportation.

*

Take full and accurate minutes of sensitive meetings, as required.

Ensure personnel files are kept up-to date by completing accurate and timely filing.

*

Answer queries and advise managers and team members on recruitment processes and procedures.
