Art Handling Technician

We are currently recruiting for six Art Handling Technicians to support the delivery of Tate programme and make sure that standards are maintained for object packing, handling, movement, documentation, storage and display. The roles will be based at Tate Stores (Southwark and Wiltshire) and across Tate’s other sites.

You will be able to demonstrate practical experience and technical skills that will give you the ability to problem solve prioritising the care, installation and movement of art works. You will have an adaptable attitude, great communication skills and enjoy working flexibly as part of a team, committed to getting the job done. We will provide a full equipment training programme, including all technical certifications required, to enable you to work within the Tate’s standard.

There are 5 x permanent, full-time contracts available and one fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027.
