PLR Operations & Marketing Manager

Salary: £30,450 

The British Library’s Public Lending Right Team is responsible for ensuring the effective dissemination of £6.3 million (UK) and €220,000 (ROI) in payments to registered authors, illustrators and other rights holders in remuneration for the loan of their books through public libraries.   

This role will suit an experienced, enthusiastic and driven individual who will take ownership of the operational management of the registration and enquiry service for both UK and Irish PLR schemes, as well as the management and development of the PLR Operations team and their delivery of an excellent front-line service, in accordance with relevant legislation and contractual arrangements.  

You will have excellent management and communication skills and proven ability to develop and motivate a team engaged in significant processing and technical activities. If you have a proactive approach, flexible attitude and the ability to adapt to change whilst promoting best practice then this could be the role for you.
