The British Library is seeking to recruit a full-time Collection Support Assistant to join the Music Collections Team at St Pancras. Working with one of the most extensive collections of printed and manuscript music in the world, this is an exciting opportunity to help make these important materials available for research, creativity and enjoyment.

We are looking for someone with a good understanding of the conservation requirements of different kinds of collection item with a readiness to identify and address problems promptly. To be successful in this role you will have good time management skills and the ability to work accurately and methodically to meet agreed targets. Experience of handling and processing invoices and general knowledge of music, including an ability to read music, are among the desirable additional requirements.
