Joining our Visitor Fundraising team at the Science and Industry Museum, you will be responsible for delivering the highest standards of customer service by providing a warm welcome to our diverse museum audiences and asking for voluntary donations.

About the role
To inspire donations which support our museum, we are looking for a part-time Visitor Fundraiser working 28 hours per week and 1 in 3 weekends.

A key Front of House representative, you will be one of the first faces our guests see when they enter the museum. You will provide a warm welcome and deliver excellent customer service, whilst actively promoting the museum; encouraging donations, up-selling our commercial offerings, increasing ticket sales and furthering awareness of Gift Aid to help meet our fundraising goals.

About you
You will be a true advocate for the Museum and the Group, with the ability to absorb information and communicate this in a positive and engaging way. Using your great communication skills, you can actively approach and encourage donations from our diverse audiences.

Whether you have been a fundraiser in the past, worked sales or retail, or if you this would be a new venture for you - We are keen to hear from you! You will be key to inspiring others in future of the Museum and confidently engaging the public to support us.
