Planning and Performance Analyst (Finance)

To support this work, we are seeking a Planning and Performance Analyst to join us full-time, on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. This position can be based from either of our museum sites in London or Manchester.

About the role
Positioned in the Financial Technology and Data Analytics team, you will have responsibility for three key performance management products, the SMG Headline Plan; Management Information Hub and Operational Metrics. You will review and innovate our data points, enabling reliable and accessible data to be efficiently accessed and utilised for our stakeholders and reports.

There is also the opportunity for significant impact through process improvements using Microsoft Power Platform (especially Lists, Automate and BI).

Salary: £45,500 per annum

About you
You will bring demonstrable experience in systems, processes, analytics, for example through working on a system implementation project or other financial planning and analysis (FP&A), along with experience of specific improvement projects or initiatives in a finance function.

You have a practical approach to problem-solving and utilising your resources, with experiemce of using data to prepare reporting products and working with Microsoft products

You know how to work with key stakeholders to deliver effective outcomes, and your great communication skills allow for clear data narratives, and ensure that change is embedded.
