Conservation Digitisation Manager

The British Library is looking for a Conservation Digitisation Manager to join the conservation team.

The jobholder will manage conservation activities to enable digitisation projects, programmes and imaging. The successful candidate will manage a team of conservators for digitisation, and report on a work programme throughout the year, providing information to enable reporting against performance indicators. Work closely with counterpart Conservation Digitisation Manager and team.

The role requires project organisational skills for planning and a sound knowledge of conservation for surveying, condition assessing items and collections to enable scoping and estimating for digitisation. The jobholder will have a degree in conservation studies; demonstrate management skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively.
