About the role:
The postholder will work as part of a central administrative team to provide excellent office management and administrative support to staff and departments within the collection directorate.

Key areas of responsibility:
• Manage and deliver administrative support for designated departments and teams, prioritising competing demands on time with Heads of Department and the Administration Manager(s).
• Manage and monitor budgets, travel approval insurance, risk assessments and visas, scheduling, department meetings, internal communications, and events.
• Line manages a team of Administrators.
• Assist the Administration Manager(s) in acting as a liaison point for capital and maintenance projects.
• Ensure any maintenance issues concerning office spaces are reported to the service desk and monitor completion of relevant tasks.
• Work flexibly across the departments in each area to deliver financial processing, internal reporting, responses to enquiries, office management and health and fire safety compliance.
