Development Officer

This role will assist the Director of Development in the management of key fundraising projects as well as oversee their schedule, preparation for meeting and take minutes and actions at all relevant meetings.

This role will also be responsible for the operational side of the department including being point of contact for the Raisers Edge XT Fundraising system and working with Finance and other relevant departments on raised revenue tracking and preparing reports for review by the Director of Development.

To identify and implement learning and development needs for both yourself and your team, including volunteers, if appropriate.

In addition, your duties will include:

1) Assisting the Director of Development with the management of key fundraising projects.
2) Manage the Director of Developments schedule, prep for meeting and take minutes and actions at all relevant meetings.
3) Be the lead contact for the Raisers Edge XT fundraising system including data entry and puling donor and finance reports.
4) Work with Finance and relevant departments on process for gift entry and donor tracking as indicated in The Compendium to Development and Fundraising Processes Manual.
5) Be on hand to assist other members of the department including the Events Manager on museum events.
6) And additional ad hoc duties as required.
