Head of Partnerships

London Museum in Smithfield in the City of London will open in 2026 and we’re working with some of the most exciting partners to deliver extraordinary experiences for the people of London and global visitors alike. With major support already secured from the City of London and the Mayor of London, £100m will come from private and philanthropic funds raised through our major fundraising campaign. We have already secured £45m of this goal.

In this Head of Partnerships role you will get the opportunity to work with talented and ambitious colleagues and you will be responsible for the direct leadership of two fundraisers. As well as working to secure income for the Smithfield project, you will have an eye on opportunities for London Museum Docklands, set against the backdrop of Canary Wharf.

The successful candidate will be an experienced leader in development with a proven track record of securing and managing six or seven figure partnerships between the cultural or charitable and corporate sectors. You will have devised sophisticated cultivation strategies and managed a portfolio of senior level prospects.
