Assistant Programme Director, Oxford Cultural Leaders

Oxford Cultural Leaders is a highly acclaimed leadership programme for British and global leaders in the cultural and creative sectors founded and run by Oxford University’s Gardens, Libraries and Museums since 2015 with colleagues at the Saïd Business School. The programme consists of a Residential Programme which takes place in Oxford every September, OCL Online, which takes place every spring, OCL Coaching, OCL for GLAM and OCL Bespoke. OCL programmes aim to challenge and redefine the identity of leaders in the arts and cultural sectors and to shape their vision at a time of challenge and complexity. The cohorts for OCL come from across the world, from over 200 organisations to date and create networks which are brought together as part of the OCL Alumni Membership Programme which is run annually.

Do you have a passion for the cultural sector and experience of successfully developing and facilitating development programmes?

We are looking for an experienced learning and development professional to join the Oxford University Gardens Libraries and Museums (GLAM) to contribute to the ongoing success and strategic development of its acclaimed Oxford Cultural Leaders (OCL) suite of programmes.

You will play a key role in programme design and delivery, including our new internal OCL for GLAM emerging leaders. You will engage faculty, develop and cost learning modules and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality learning experiences.

You will have the opportunity to build on the success of the programmes and to expand the OCL brand nationally and internationally, working with the OCL Programme Director to identify and progress opportunities for new partnerships and programmes.

You will also help us build the growing life-long community of OCL alumni through long-term alumni network planning and strengthening alumni communications and programming.

This is a 1-year fixed term, part-time post (2.5 days per week). The role supports a hybrid working model, with the expectation of working on-site at least one day per week. Some weekend and evening work will be required as part of this role.
