About the role:
As the IS Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient functioning of our Information Services department. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of administrative tasks, including financial administration, office management, and reporting.
Joining a friendly team with a dynamic work environment your attention to detail and organisational skills will make a significant impact. You will have the opportunity collaborate with diverse teams and gain exposure to various aspects of administrative management.
Key areas of responsibility:
• Financial Administrative Support: Assist project and operational teams by managing financial tasks such as ordering IT equipment, software, and general supplies. Handle invoices, expenses, travel claims, and supplier inquiries. Take charge of the Government Procurement Card.
• Office Administration: Maintain smooth office operations by managing various tasks including stock keeping, document management, communication coordination, and information dissemination.
• Performance Reporting: Collaborate with teams to provide performance reports, progress updates, and measurements against KPIs. Assist in creating visual aids to effectively communicate progress.
• Office Organisation: Manage office space, storage, and desk space standards to ensure a productive and organised work environment.
• Meeting Support: Provide administrative support for meetings, including the production of minutes.
About you:
• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
• Relevant administrative experience including supporting the processing of orders and invoices.
• Relevant experience in writing basic business documents such as meeting minutes, briefing notes or desk procedures.
• Able to work to tight time and delivery deadlines and pressures associated with the Information Services support service.
• Good time management, oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
