Key Accountabilities:
To lead on the national Learning & Engagement strategy working collaboratively with national tour partners
To manage the Youth Engagement framework and ensure the effective delivery of the Youth Engagement Activity Plan
To work directly with Learning & Engagement leads at each venue across the tour partnership to deliver the Activity Plan
To co-ordinate touchpoints for youth connection, youth exchange and cross-partner activity to ensure youth engagement is practice is shared across the partnership
To lead, manage and facilitate opportunities for advisory work, practice sharing and skills sharing across the partnership
To co-ordinate and collaborate effectively with partners to design & deliver the national youth summits and sharing days
To lead the cross-partner digital and film production
To lead and support Further Education partnerships (as developed) across the project
To lead and support creative content, programming and partner workshops focusing on learning and engagement practice sharing across the partnership
To lead and convene partnership activity on cultural conversations and interpretation and activity direction across the partnership
To work with NPG team to develop artist brief to deliver contemporary responses within regional displays
To connect in with and lead the overview on NPG youth engagement work across all audiences (schools and young people)
To work with the Project team and NPG curator to develop curatorial and engagement practice through the Project Steering Group
To Chair the Learning & Engagement Steering Group including tracking plans, progress and support development
To manage 121 learning & engagement partner meetings to develop and support the youth engagement offer with each partner
To commission and manage the project evaluation framework and work closely with the external evaluator to embed evaluation methodology, advisory findings and considerations
To lead partners Comms. Strategy working with local young people to shape and co-design marketing by and for young people
To support and ensure youth engagement activity is integrated into the wider tour as required
To manage the Learning & Engagement budget responsibilities

Key Experience, Skills and Criteria:
Demonstrable experience of effective partner building, collaborative working practice and effective leadership
Leading, advising and supporting innovative cultural and creative learning and engagement projects within a museum or gallery environment
Demonstrable experience of youth engagement practice, community engagement practice embedded with participatory, consultative and advisory practice central
Experience of convening high quality co-produced projects and programmes with partners (artists and community)
Experience of chairing and convening national partnership meetings, skills sharing and advisory practice
Proven experience of managing and maintaining budgets to deliver programmes, projects and events with agility
Strong budget management experience
