This senior, fixed-term position offers an exciting opportunity to make an impact in a prestigious institution. You’ll work closely with the Head of Collections Management, navigating complex HR matters to drive successful outcomes. Your expertise will be vital as you support strategic and operational objectives, ensuring smooth HR processes in an evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert HR advice and guidance to senior leaders within the department, with a primary focus on employee relations and change.
Manage a diverse caseload, resolving complex issues while adhering to University policies and employment legislation.
Build strong relationships with departmental managers, offering pragmatic, solution-oriented support.
Champion change management initiatives as part of the Transformation Programme in Collections Management.
Advise and influence at all levels, applying sound judgement and up-to-date knowledge of employment law and best practices.
About you:
You must be a qualified HR professional, with a CIPD Level 5 or higher, or equivalent experience. We are looking for somebody with proven expertise in Employee Relations who has significant experience in managing complex HR cases. The successful candidate must be a strategic thinker who can align HR initiatives with broader organisational objectives. You will be a proactive, confident, and solutions-driven individual, able to navigate the challenges of a dynamic environment. We are looking for strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organisation.
