More opportunities for museums in revised National Lottery Project Grants 5 Nov 2021

ACE has revised its National Lottery Project Grants, with provisions making it easier for museums, including non-accredited museums and early career cultural workers, to apply. Provisions include:

• Grants from £1k to £100k are available, with a decision within eight weeks for applications under £30k, allowing ambitious work to get off the ground more quickly.
• More advice will be targeted at early career workers who might not previously have applied for funding.
• A greater number of museums, including non-accredited museums, will be able to apply, with grants available to make collections more relevant and accessible to their audiences.
• There will also be ringfenced programmes within the grants supporting place-making work, touring and projects of national significance.
