Launch of the Cultural Protection Fund 6 Jun 2016

The British Council and DCMS have launched the £30m Cultural Protection Fund. The Fund will offer capacity building grants to foster, safeguard and promote cultural heritage internationally. Initially the grants will focus on UK organisations working in the Middle East and North Africa. The fund opens on 27th June and has two categories of grant: under £100k and over £100k. In the first year detailed country surveys will be commissioned, to better understand needs, existing activity and potential partners.
