Renaissance Review and National Action Plan 23 Jul 2009

On 22nd July the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA) published the findings of the independent review of the Renaissance in the Regions programme, together with the the National Action Plan for Museums, Leading Museums, A Vision and Strategic Action Plan for English Museums. The National Museum Directors’ Conference supports the valuable work of regional museums.  National museums work closely with their regional counterparts to deliver maximum benefits to the public, and NMDC recently embarked on a new project to ensure national-regional museum partnership working is as joined-up, strategic and effective as possible.  We look forward to working with the MLA to further our shared objectives for a strong museums sector and an excellent public offer.
